One Man Nation
Tara x aka One Man Nation is a transgender experimental musician originally from Singapore with a background in media and sound art who graduated from the Piet Zwart Institute (Rotterdam, NL). At present, she splits his time between Asia and Spain where she is co-directing the artists-run organization The Unifiedfield in Granada with Marta Moreno Muñoz.
She currently has on-going collaborations with Pierre Bastien (Mecanation), Dr Truna (Truna + OMN), Machinefabriek, Iman Jimbot and Bambu Wukir (The Future Sounds Of Folk); has collaborated in the past with Vincent Moon, C-drík & Mindfuckingboy (in Elekore), Kato Hideki, Hilary Jeffrey, Richard Scott, Alfredo Genovesi and Soopa Collective; has performed internationally at the Guggenheim Museum (Bilbao), Museum of Contemporary Art (Taipei), ISEA (Ruhr), Mapping (Geneva), Piksel (Bergen), MEM (Bilbao), STEIM Jamboree (Amsterdam), Makeart (Poitiers), Fete 0.1 (Orléans) and SummerLAB (Gijon) amongst others.
