Ambre is a collaboration between Olivier Moreau [Imminent, Urawa, Torsion, Axiome], John Sellekaers [Xingu hill, Urawa, Torsion,etc.] and C-drík [Kirdec, Tetra plok, Axiome, etc.].

The band started in 1997 first including John and C-drík for the recording of one or two tracks then followed by Olivier.

On the last cd a some of the tracks were recorded by John and Olivier only.

The band mostly sounds dark ambient but sometimes electro-acoustic too.
